EPIK 2012 – DON’T GET LEFT BEHIND-APPLY NOW
By: Footprints Recruiting
New Career? New Experience? Or Both? You Decide.
EPIK 2012. More than just a job.
Go back to school and get paid for it! Make 2012 a year to remember by taking part in a program that allows you to experience a new culture while earning a great living. Teaching through the EPIK program in South Korea will give you the chance to have the typical Monday to Friday, 8 hour/day work schedule, in a country that is anything but typical.
Even if kimchi isn't your side dish of choice, Korea has a great mix of both the traditional and Western influences. With guaranteed weekends free, the chance to explore your surroundings is one of the reasons that this program is so popular. In a country slightly larger than the state of Indiana, you can spend your year seeing as much or as little as you want. We recommend seeing a lot!
Positions start Feb 18th but they fill quickly and are based on a first-come, first-served policy. Applicants that are native English speakers with a minimum of a bachelor's degree can begin the application process now through Footprints Recruiting ®.
Once in Korea your contract states that you will commit to employment for 12 months and during this time you will earn between $1,595-$2,391 USD/month and be provided with a cozy semi-furnished apartment, as well as subsidized return airfare, medical insurance and 20 days paid vacation.
As you can imagine these positions fill very quickly so we recommend that if you are seriously considering applying that you do so as soon as possible. You'll need to start working on collecting two reference letters, and in September you should apply for your FBI check (if you live in the USA) and a Nationwide Criminal Background Check if you live in any of the other English speaking countries (you don't want to do so before September because the background check can't be more than 6 months old from the date you start your position).
If you're ready to apply you can do so here or read more information on the

Footprints Recruiting ® knows that being prepared is more than just securing a great job.
Did you know that most medical insurance included in your teaching contract doesn't kick in immediately, and usually only covers you locally? Many teachers who plan on traveling during their time off don't realize the risks involved. Take the time to find out what is included in your insurance coverage, where coverage is provided and the length of time it lasts. At best, your free coverage will likely only cover a portion of your bill, leaving you with more debt than when you left if anything should happen.
Protect yourself before you go or while your abroad by gettting extended travel medical insurance that will allow you to live abroad and travel securely.
