Teachers Needed for English School In Dandong, China

Heidi English School is located in Dandong city, the biggest and most beautiful border city in China, on the east coast of Liaoning Province. Standing by the Yalu River, which is the boundary between China and North Korea, you will keep wonderful and unique scenery from another different country in view. There you can see the east end of the Ming Dynasty Great Wall, which rises right over the coast, one step away from Korea. Dandong has always been the most obvious and remarkable actor on the stage of Chinese history. Lots of world famous and influential historical events, such as the Battle of Yalu River, which is the largest naval engagement of the First Sino-Japanese War, and the Korean War, were all took place in this region. Not only does Dandong have rich, high grade red tourist resources, simultaneously it has rich eco-tourism resources as well, including national showplaces and holiday areas such as the graceful Yalu River, precipitous Phoenix Mountain, and National Thermal Park, which has been called “a marvelous imaginary land of fairies” for centuries.
Dandong is not only a beautiful and peaceful city, but also a capital of fashion. Rather than competitions, the annual international events such as Yalu River International Cultural Tourism Festival, International Dragon Boat Festival, International Golf Festival, have become showcases of Dandong, and have attracted thousands of tourists from all over the world. The economy of Dandong is developing rapidly in recent decades, and it is one of the leading spots along the Chinese coastal open-economic belt, enjoying the title of “Northern Hong Kong”. Even so, the cost of living in Dandong is extremely low. In big Chinese cities like Beijing, Shanghai or Dalian, the minimum fare of taking a taxi can be around 10 or 20 RMB, but in Dandong, it only costs you only 5 RMB. Besides, the dietetic culture of Dandong is like a mosaic combination of the food from around the country and Korea, the people here can feast on China’s four major styles of cooking and standard and pure Korean food at any local restaurant within the city. And by the way, Dandong is nationally noted as the best place with the most delicious BBQ and HOT POT. Being in the temperate climate coastal zone, it is reasonably cool in summer and warm in winter. Attractive scenery, pleasant climate and clear four seasons, these make the people here healthy and charming. The girls here are well turned out and smart, and the boys are handsome and clever. Not only nationally, but even worldly famous film stars, singers, models and artists are originally citizens here. The people here are enthusiastic and hospitable; they stroll about in an unhurried way, speak in calm voices, and live in this little small town with their artistic grace and simple goodness…We are seeking another FOUR teachers to teach Oral English classes to our Chinese students who range in age from 4 to 40. We have an opening at the beginning of JUNE or the beginning of SEPTEMBER. The successful applicant must be professional and committed to his/her students.
1.Our basic requirements are:
1). Be a native English speaker from a country such as Australia, UK, Canada, Ireland, America or New Zealand.
2).College degree or above in any subject
3). Have a teaching certificate or TEFL certificate.
4) Two years of working/teaching experience after graduate, but the positions may be available to others who do not have much experience, what counts is that you are the right person.
Teachers may choose:
A) 6 month contract: 15hrs/week, 4500 RMB per month salary, and free accommodation, completion bonus of 1000RMB, and 2 days paid holiday
B) 12 month contract: 15 hrs/week, 4500 RMB per month salary, and free accommodation, completion bonus of 3000RMB, and 5 days paid holiday
C) 6 month contract: 20hrs/week, 5500 RMB per month salary, and free accommodation, completion bonus of 2000RMB, and 3 days paid holiday
D) 12 month contract: 20hrs/week, 5500 RMB per month, free accommodation, completion bonus of 4000RMB, accident insurance, and 7 days paid holiday
E) 6 month contract: 25hrs/week, 6500RMB per month salary, free accommodation, completion bonus of 3500RMB, accident insurance, and 5 days paid holiday
F) 12 month contract: 25hrs/week, 6500RMB per month salary, free accommodation and completion bonus of 7000RMB, accident insurance, and 10 days paid holiday
All contract options also include 100RMB per hour for working overtime each month
During your work, we’ll offer you any help if you have some difficulties in working or living (eg: shopping, hospital, trip, or exchanging money)
Also included with shared furnished modern apartment accommodation fully furnished for your everyday needs only fifteen minutes pleasant walk from the school. Taxi fare to or from school is only 5 RMB. If you are a good teacher with experience, you will get better conditions (such as travel allowance …).
